Frequently Asked Questions

Placement, schedules, recycling rules and billing — answered plainly.

Bin Placement

Place bins at the curb by 6:30 AM with wheels facing your house, lids fully closed, and at least 3 feet of clearance from cars, mailboxes and other carts so the truck arm can grab them.

Move carts to the nearest accessible corner and text us the cross street — crews check the dispatch list for notes before marking a stop missed.

Schedules & Holidays

We run every holiday except Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year's Day. In those weeks collection slides one day later, and we text you the schedule on Sunday.

If carts were out correctly and still full by 6pm, report it the same day and we'll return within 24 hours — free.

Yes — vacation holds of 2–8 weeks credit your account per missed week. Just tell us 48 hours ahead.

Recycling Rules

Paper, flattened cardboard, plastics #1–#7, glass bottles and jars, and metal cans. Rinse food residue, keep shredded paper in a paper bag, and when in doubt — leave it out.

Coffee cups fuse paper to plastic lining that standard mills can't separate, and loose bags jam sorting machinery. Return bags to store drop-offs instead.

Never in any cart — they start fires. Bring them to any drop-off location or read our battery recycling guide for mail-back options.

Billing & Dumpsters

Quarterly autopay by card or bank transfer. No fuel surcharges, no cart rental fees, and you can cancel with 30 days' notice — we collect the carts free.

Hazardous waste, tires, batteries, liquids, appliances with refrigerant and electronics. Everything else — furniture, debris, yard waste — is welcome up to the fill line.
