We partnered with community recyclers to create a circular value ecosystem for electric and hybrid vehicle batteries. Instead of stockpiling dead packs in garages — or worse, landfilling them — owners can now drop them with us and watch scarce raw materials re-enter the supply chain through closed loop recycling.
Why batteries can't go in any cart
Lithium cells punctured in a collection truck start fires that endanger crews and facilities. Every battery, from AAAs to EV modules, needs a separate supervised stream. Our new program adds that stream for the biggest batteries on the road.
How the program works
Bring small batteries to any drop-off location, free. For EV and hybrid packs, book a specialty pickup: our licensed team assesses the pack, transports it under manifest to a certified re-refiner, and sends you a recycling certificate for your records. Recovered lithium, cobalt and nickel go straight back to manufacturers.
What it costs
Household batteries are always free. EV pack collection is quoted by size and condition — most standard hybrid packs run less than a tank of gas once did. Businesses with fleet turnover can set up a standing quarterly route.
